History
De Tafel van de Heilige Geest van de Sint-Gummarusparochie werd gesticht in 1261. De Heilige Geesttafel organiseerde de uitdeling van voedingswaren en andere goederen, meestal gebeurde dit achteraan de kerk. Gaandeweg was echter een groter gebouw nodig. In 1440 werd gestart met de bouw van het Heilige Geesthuis.
De Tafel van de Heilige Geest van de Sint-Gummarusparochie mag niet verward worden met de Heilige Geesttafel in de Begijnhofkerk.
